The European Governing committee has decided to sent a proposal for Aramid halyards to the class for a vote. Many of you will remember that this was brought up at the annual meeting for a vote 2 years ago and narrowly defeated. The Europeans feel strongly about it and so it will be mailed to all members as a ballot in the fall. If anyone has strong feelings about it, pro or con, please submit a letter to Deb Whitehorse for publication in runner tracks.
